Crystal 3D VORTEX run under the current version of Windows?
Crystal 3D VORTEX
is a 32-bit application that works under Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000,
and XP. There is a minor problem when Crystal 3D VORTEX is used with Adobe Premiere v6.x under Windows 98 SE. In this circumstance, scrolling through the Crystal 3D VORTEX transitions may cause errors in Premiere. To work around this problem, after you have installed Crystal 3D VORTEX, identify the transition effects that you plan to use most often and delete the others from the Plug-ins folder.
Note: We have made a business decision to discontinue the Crystal 3D VORTEX product as of January 1, 2004. So, it is possible that Crystal 3D VORTEX may not work under future versions of Windows.

11. Does Crystal 3D VORTEX work with the current version of Adobe Premiere? No. We have verified that there appears to be a problem with the operation of Crystal 3D
VORTEX in Adobe Premiere Pro (v 7.0), and there is no known work around. It may be helpful for you to know that Crystal 3D
VORTEX is compatible with earlier versions of Premiere (since v4.2) up to v6.5. So, if you need to use Crystal 3D
VORTEX in your video projects, we suggest you make use of it with a version of Premiere that precedes v7.0.
Note: Crystal 3D VORTEX installer installs the 3D VORTEX transition effects in a folder that used to exist in earlier versions of Adobe Premiere. When Adobe released Premiere v6.x, the folders names were changed. To correctly install the Crystal 3D VORTEX plug-ins into Premiere 6.0, you will need to switch from the default C:\Win32App\Premiere\Plugins to the current Premiere folder. The default path for Premiere 6.0 plug-ins is as follows - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere 6.0\Plug-ins. And, the default path for Premiere 6.5 plug-ins is as follows - C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere 6.5\Plug-ins.
From there, you should see Crystal 3D VORTEX plug-ins listed in the 3rd party transitions list.

12. Does
Crystal 3D VORTEX work with the current version of Ulead MediaStudio Pro?
Both volumes
of Crystal 3D VORTEX work with Ulead MediaStudio Pro 5.0
and 6.0. There is a minor problem when using Crystal 3D VORTEX in Ulead MediaStudio Pro 6.0; the names of the 3D VORTEX transition effects do not display in the dialog box. However, a description of the 3D VORTEX effect displays, so, you can select the type of transition you want to apply to your video project in this way.
Note: We have made a business decision to discontinue the Crystal 3D VORTEX product as of January 1, 2004. So, it is possible that Crystal 3D VORTEX may not work under future versions of Ulead MediaStudio Pro.

13. Does Crystal 3D VORTEX work with
