2. How do I install Crystal 3D VORTEX transitions for use with FAST Video Machine Studio Plus?

Unfortunately, there is not a direct way to install Crystal 3D VORTEX Volume 1 into VM Studio Plus. However, as a work around, just follow the installation instructions for installing Crystal 3D VORTEX into Adobe Premiere. Once the Crystal 3D VORTEX .PRM files are installed on the local hard drive, use Windows Explorer to copy the 3DV*.PRM transition files from the Premiere Plug-ins folder into the Video Machine Studio Plus fx extension folder.

4. What should I do if my video seems to be taking "Forever" to render?
  1. Reduce the number of 3D transitions.
  2. Shorten the duration of the 3D transitions.
  3. Use the medium render quality, rather than the high render quality.
  4. Add more RAM to your computer. This may allow Crystal 3D VORTEX to run faster by storing data in RAM, rather than on the hard disk.
  5. Consider using a lower frame rate. For example, instead of 30 frames per second (fps), use 20fps.
  6. Consider using a lower resolution. For example, instead of a 640x480 resolution, use 320x240.
  7. Use a faster computer. For example, using a Pentium-based system will render faster than a 486-based system.
