Current Version
The current version of the PowerPlugs:
Transitions software is 1.65
(Note: the software version number is independent of the volume number.)
If your software has an older (lower) version number than this, then
you will want to get your free update here! Tip: if you are currently
using 3D Sensations For Presentations, then you have an older version
and will definitely want this update.
New Features of 1.65
·
Greatly improved compatibility between sound files
that play throughout a presentation and 3D transition effects.
· Previously, some timed
PowerPoint animations didn't coexist well with 3D transition effects.
Now they work together much better.
· Before there were
a few minor problems with the "Pack 3D Effects". These
have also been cleaned up.
· Faster presentation loading when using
the View Show With 3D command
· Faster rendering of effects on computers that lack 3D acceleration
hardware
· Smoother transitions, especially on graphics boards from 3Dfx and
others
· Improved compatibility with Office 2000
· New
hardware pre-test designed to better assess the computers' ability to
handle the 3D transitions.
· New
troubleshooting dialog.
· Improved
performance with PowerPoint's native animations. (bulleted lists, timed
events and etc..)
Important Updating Instructions
To update the software properly, it is important that you follow
these simple steps in the order listed below:

Get ready to install the PowerPlugs: Transitions update. We suggest creating a folder on your hard drive called Download. Create a new folder inside the Download folder for each file you download. It will make it easier to find later.

Install your PowerPlugs: Transitions update. To do so, first of all, download the update file by clicking here: transoftware165.exe. Once the update file has downloaded, double click on it to start the installation. (Note: By default, the installer will place the new software in a directory called C:\Program Files\PowerPlugs.) Please note: If you're currently using PowerPlugs: Transitions version 1.52, 1.62 or 1.63 you are done with the update. Otherwise, please continue with step 3.
- Copy 3D Sensations For Presentations' sound
and visual effects to the PowerPlugs
folder.
The sounds are stored in C:\Program Files\3D Sensations For Presentations\Sounds. You will want to copy them (using Windows Explorer) to PowerPlugs' corresponding folder: C:\Program Files\PowerPlugs\Sounds. Likewise, the visual effects are stored in C:\Program Files\3D Sensations For Presentations\Transitions. You will want to copy them to PowerPlugs' corresponding folder: C:\Program Files\PowerPlugs\Transitions.

Using the Start menu,
click on the Programs > 3D Sensations > Uninstall tool.
Select "Yes" to the question: "Do you wish to remove the 3D Sensations For Presentations interface from PowerPoint?".
Select "Yes" to the question: "Are you sure you want to completely remove the selected application and all of its components?".
