1. How to Insert Pictures
Use Insert/Picture/from File and navigate to the Style Set folder you are using.
Select the word or part you need and choose Insert.

2. How to Size the Image
Select the picture; use Format/Picture/Size, enter a percentage to set the size you need (Keep Lock Aspect Ratio checked); choose OK. By the way, you can see a preview of the size you selected by clicking the Preview button while the menu is still open.

3. How to Select All Objects
As you layer images and text, which overlap, you may need to select all the objects on a slide. Put your cursor on the slide and use Edit/Select All. If the slide icon (in the outline frame) is highlighted, this command selects all the slides.

4. How to Group Objects
Select the first object you wish to group. Hold down your SHIFT key and continue selecting objects for the group. When you have selected all of the objects you wish to group, use Draw/Group. (Ungroup is available on this same menu.)

5. How to Set the Stacking Order
The transparent background of the objects allows for stacking of many layers. As you layer images and text, which overlap, you can choose the stacking order by selecting a specific object and using Draw/Order. You can then choose to move the selected object to the top, back or other position in the stack.

6. How to Select Individual Objects
As you layer images and text, which overlap, it may be difficult to point to a specific object for selection. Simply select any object and then use you TAB key to cycle through all the objects on the slide until the object you need is highlighted.

7. How to Apply Another Background
As you develop your presentation, you may wish to change backgrounds. To change the background for the entire presentation, of to View/Master/Slide Master. From there, use Format/Background/Fill Effects/Picture navigate to the background folder, select a background and Apply to All.

To change backgrounds for a single slide, use Format/Background/Fill Effects/Picture navigate to the background folder, select a background and Apply.

8. How to customize Text
Open the PowerPlugs: Headings Getting Started presentation, find the color and style for the selected style. Using the Text tool, enter your new text and set the appropriate font, size, and color. Position it over the shape you are customizing. By the way, it often helps to zoom in on the image (View/Zoom) while you align.

Installation
In the PowerPlugs: Headings CD, there is a file called "Headings.exe". Double click on this file. It will install the PowerPlugs: Headings files onto your local hard drive. It will also automatically install it into PowerPoint.

How do I uninstall PowerPlugs: Headings from my system?
a. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
b. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
c. On the Install/Uninstall tab, select PowerPlugs:Headings and then click Add/Remove.
d. Click Remove All.
e. Click Next. Click Finish to complete and exit the installer.

I get and error message when I try to uninstall the second of both volumes of Headings. How can I uninstall the second one?
a. Using Windows Explorer, locate the PowerPlugs: Headings folder (If you selected the default destination folder upon installation, you should look in My Documents>My Pictures)
b. Delete all folders associated with PowerPlugs: Headings

13. Why do my Headings images look dithered in the preview/editing mode (“Slide view”)?
This is due to the way PowerPoint displays images containing transparency in the preview/editing mode. But, don’t worry. They will look great in the slide show mode.

14. Where on my hard drive are PowerPlugs: Headings images installed?
For easy access from within PowerPoint, Headings files are installed in the following “default” locations on your hard drive:

For PowerPoint 97

C:\My Documents\
For PowerPoint 2000
C:\My Pictures\

15. Where can I find the fonts that match my headings styles?
