How
do I get started?
Installing the batteries |

- Take out the USB receiver or
plug:
Remove receiver or plug prior to installing batteries. Cover cannot
be removed when inserted
|

- Open Remote:
Turn the remote upside down and push the eject slider to release
the outer cover.
|
|
 |
- Remove Cover:
Separate the outer cover from the remote by gently pulling on
the top and bottom in the opposite directions. Once separated
turn the remote over.
|

 |
- Add Batteries:
Open the battery compartment by pressing down on the latch. Insert
the batteries as per the diagram on the remote.
|
|
 |
- Set the clock:
Set the clock by pressing the set clock button. The hour will
start blinking. Use the following keys to set the time.

- Reassemble:
Reassemble your remote by closing the battery door and sliding
the outer cover over the remote until it clicks into place.

Connecting the USB receiver |
|

- Remove the USB receiver from the
remote.
|

- Insert the USB receiver into any
available USB port on your computer.
- You can use an USB extension cable
for computers with difficult to reach USB ports or reposition
the receiver.

Presenting
In order to begin presenting, the following checklist must be
completed. |
- The computer must be on.
- The presentation software must be
activated and in the slide show mode.
- The USB receiver must be installed
For a dramatic beginning, prepare the slide show in advance with
the opening slide on screen. Then use the reveal feature icon
(Blank screen button) to hide the presentation until you are ready
to start.

Using the Laser Pointer |
- Press the button on the front of
the remote to activate the laser pointer. The laser pointer can
be used to highlight important points on slides and graphs.
