Current Version
The current version of the

Updating Instructions for users of previous versions of PowerPlugs: FlashReady:

1. Download the FlashReady update file by clicking on the link below.
Your downloaded file will be named: PowerPlugs-FlashReady-2_20-Update.exe
Save the file to a location such as your "My Download Files" folder, where it will be easy to find in the next steps.

2. Close all running applications to prevent installation problems.
   This is good advice when installing any software from any source.


3. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation.
   After you double-click on this downloaded file, the installer will extract one or more compressed files from it.
   The newly extracted files will be placed, by default, in a directory called C:\Program Files\PowerPlugs.

Version 2.2 fixes the following issues:

• Enhanced for PowerPoint 2007 compatibility

Version 2.0 addresses the following issues:

• The "Insert Flash Movie" tool would not operate in some international language versions of PowerPoint.
• FlashReady now automatically embeds and loops selected flash effects inserted in PowerPoint slides (there are user options to disable embedding &/or looping, if desired).
• Improved Import tool.
• Incompatibilities with other plugins during installation has been improved.

* Note: If the previous version of PowerPlugs: FlashReady is not fully uninstalled before installing the current version (2.0), you may encounter the following errors: "Runtime Error 76" or "Runtime Error 52." Please try installing the most current version of Flash Ready (v2.0) AGAIN; thereafter, these errors should not occur and the FlashReady software should then be installed properly and operational in PowerPoint.
