1. I have Office 2007/2010 and Windows Vista/ Windows 7. The PowerPlugs: Templates are not showing up in PowerPoint. What do I do?
2. When I’m downloading new templates, I keep getting a message “Unable to Process Download Request. What does that mean? We have implemented security measures to prevent unauthorized use of your subscription by other people or by automated scripts. Our security measures have detected some unusual activity for this account, and have suspended downloads until you contact us. This may happen if other people are using your subscription, or if you frequently delete your browser cookies. Please contact us if you have any questions.” What do I do?

After you download a PowerPoint Template, you need to double click and run this application. You will then get a message that “The template has been successfully installed into Microsoft’s default template folder”. To find your downloaded templates in PowerPoint 2007/2010, go to “File > New > Templates on My Computer”. A folder should open with the templates you have downloaded. If you do not see all your downloaded templates, please try this workaround resolution.

Do you have WinRAR installed on your system? If NO, then login to http://www.download.com/WinRAR/3000-2250-10007677.html and download WinRAR 3.71. Install. This is a small application.

Copy one of the downloaded templates to your desktop or download a template from your server to your desktop.

Select and right click \ select - extract to (template name)PowerPlugs_Templates_for_PowerPoint.

A new folder is created on the desktop. Open the folder and check for a file with a .pot extension. Open PPT \ select blank slide \ format \ slide design \ click on the 'browse' option \ from desktop \ open template folder and select that .pot file \ apply. Template is applied to slides.

If it works fine this way, extract all .pot files in this sequence and copy all pot files to template folder
In XP - C:\Documents and Settings\(name)\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates.
In Vista & Windows 7 - C:\Users\(name)\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates.

The other option is to download our free "PowerPlugs: Templates Finder". The Templates finder is available here:
http://www.crystalgraphics.com/powerpoint/templates.templatefinder.main.asp. You can use the Templates Finder in PowerPoint 2003-2010 to find and apply standard or print templates into your PowerPoint presentations.
